Project Overview

This case study presents a complete warehouse storage solution delivered to a logistics customer in Venezuela. The client required a brand-new high-density storage facility capable of holding heavy palletized goods in a warehouse with a very high clear height. Working from the customer's site drawings, our engineering team designed a heavy-duty pallet racking system that maximizes cubic capacity while keeping every pallet safely accessible.

The project features a total of 9 racking rows, laid out to suit the building footprint: 8 double rows installed back-to-back and 1 single row placed against the wall. Every row is built with 12 bays, giving the client a large, flexible storage volume within a compact floor plan.

Because the building offers a clear height that supports racks up to 9000 mm, the design uses vertical space efficiently, allowing multiple storage levels per bay while still respecting forklift reach and safe handling. The 2700 mm beam length comfortably accommodates standard pallet sizes, and the 1000 mm rack width keeps the structure stable under heavy loads.

Each storage level is rated to carry 3 tons, and every bay is engineered for a total distributed load of 12 tons. This heavy-duty capacity suits dense, industrial goods and gives the client the confidence to store heavier SKUs at height without compromising safety.
