Our customer required a customized steel storage platform to create additional usable storage space within an existing warehouse. The project was designed around the customer's available floor area, storage requirements, access conditions, and operational needs.
After reviewing the warehouse layout, our engineering team developed a complete steel platform solution, including the main structural frame, platform decking, safety handrails, access staircase, and supporting components.
The steel platform was designed as a heavy-duty raised storage structure supported by a series of steel columns and horizontal beams. The layout was optimized to make full use of the available warehouse space while maintaining practical working and access areas.
The platform incorporates a continuous safety handrail around the exposed edges to provide additional protection for personnel working on the upper level. The structural arrangement was also designed to provide stable support for stored goods and daily warehouse operations.
A dedicated steel staircase was incorporated into the platform design, providing convenient access between the warehouse floor and the elevated storage area.
The staircase is positioned according to the overall warehouse layout to minimize interference with ground-level operations. Safety handrails are provided along the staircase and platform perimeter to improve operator safety.
Based on the customer's requirements, we provided detailed layout, front-view and side-view drawings before production. This allowed the customer to confirm the structure, dimensions, staircase position, platform arrangement, and access requirements in advance.
The steel components are manufactured according to the approved engineering drawings and can be customized in terms of dimensions, load capacity, platform height, decking, handrails, staircase configuration, and surface finish.
The completed steel storage platform provides an effective way to increase warehouse storage capacity without expanding the building footprint. By utilizing the vertical space of the warehouse, the customer can obtain additional storage or working areas while keeping the original floor space available for daily logistics operations.
