American Teardrop Pallet Rack for High-Bay Selective Storage

This American style teardrop pallet rack is engineered for export warehouses that need maximum cube utilisation from a standard 3 inch x 3 inch roll-formed upright. With 96-1/4 inch beams, 42 inch frame depth and upright heights of 414 inch or 429 inch, a single bay holds 18 pallets on 2,600 lbs rated levels — the same configuration used on our North American DDP projects.

Why This Pallet Rack Works in Export Projects

• Boltless teardrop connection. Beams lock into the upright on a 2 inch pitch, so one bay can be re-levelled on site in minutes without tools, welding or repainting.
• High bay, small footprint. The 414 inch frame turns a 34 ft clear height into 9 storage levels, lifting positions per square metre without widening the aisle.
• Narrow aisle ready. Frames are plumbed and straightened in the factory jig, so turret truck and reach truck operations stay inside tolerance after installation.
• Mixed frame heights on one drawing. 414 inch and 429 inch frames can be combined in the same run so that a cross aisle can be cut anywhere in the row.
• Full knock-down packing. Uprights, beams and decking ship nested in steel bundles, cutting container volume by roughly 30 percent against welded frames.

Quality Control and Certification

Every batch is checked for upright straightness, beam lock engagement, weld penetration and coating thickness before packing. Frames are load tested to 1.5 times the rated capacity, and the system is supplied with CE marking and an ISO 9001:2015 quality certificate. Third party inspection, including SGS or BV, can be arranged on request.

Packing, Delivery and Installation Support

Standard export packing is steel bundle with cardboard corner protectors and stretch film, loaded into 40HQ containers at approximately 25 tons per container. We quote FOB, CIF and DDP terms. For DDP projects a full installation service is available, covering unloading, frame erection, beam levelling, decking, plumb verification and joint handover with the end user.
