A fast-growing third-party logistics (3PL) company based in Sofia, Bulgaria, was running out of usable storage space in its existing distribution center. With e-commerce volumes rising across the Balkan region, the client urgently needed to increase pallet and carton storage capacity without relocating or constructing a new building.
Our engineering team carried out a full site survey, took precise field measurements and delivered a custom-designed, bolt-together steel mezzanine platform with a total footprint of approximately 222 square meters and a floor load-bearing capacity of 700 kg per square meter. The platform creates an entirely new elevated working and storage floor above the existing warehouse area, effectively doubling the usable space.
